Born on 25 August 2001 in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Wasim developed his cricketing skills through Pakistan’s domestic system and quickly emerged as a promising pace bowling talent.

A powerful right-arm fast-medium bowler, Muhammad Wasim Jr is known for generating good pace, extracting movement from the surface, and bowling effective variations in white-ball cricket. Wasim rose through Pakistan’s youth cricket pathway, representing Pakistan Under-19, where he impressed with his pace and wicket-taking ability. His consistent domestic performances earned him selection for Pakistan’s national team in 2021.
