CA Sports is committed to protecting customers from counterfeit products that falsely use the CA brand name and trademarks. Unauthorized manufacturers and sellers may attempt to market imitation products as genuine CA Sports equipment. These counterfeit products often fail to meet our quality standards and can negatively impact player performance, safety, and customer experience.
1. Scratch & Verify the Security Code
All genuine CA Sports bats are issued with a unique barcode under a scratchable surface for product identification and traceability.
Action: Carefully scratch the silver coating on the authentication sticker.
Verification: Visit our https://thecasports.com/scratch-to-reveal page and enter the code. Our system will immediately tell you if the product is registered in our factory database.
If a product is being sold without a barcode or with a suspicious barcode label, customers are encouraged to contact CA Sports for verification.
2. Look for the Laser Branding
We use precision laser engraving on the wood of our professional bats.
- The Sign: Look for the laser-engraved CA logo or serial number, usually found on the toe or the shoulder of the bat.
- Counterfeiters often skip this expensive step or use messy, uneven stamps.
3. Buy Only from Authorized Dealers
The best way to avoid a fake is to avoid unauthorized "discount" websites or social media sellers offering prices that seem too good to be true.
The Rule: Authentic CA gear is only sold through our official website and a network of Certified Global Partners. If a seller is not on our authorized list, we cannot guarantee the safety or quality of the product.
Why It Matters
Counterfeit products:
- Do not meet CA Sports quality standards
- May use inferior materials and manufacturing processes
- Can result in poor performance and reduced durability
- Damage the trust customers place in the CA Sports brand
